South Korea not only dominates the cosmetic surgery industry, but are always on the forefront of new treatments. More people are opting for these minimally invasive anti-ageing treatments.

Thread Facelifts

While traditional facelifts require surgery, thread facelifts use a needle to insert a series of self-dissolving threads near the hairline. The skin is pulled back to tighten it around your face.  The results last three to five years

Air Ulthermage

Air ulthermage combines three laser procedures: Ulthera quattro, air jet treatment and Thermage CPT. It uses ultrasound to penetrate the skin’s deepest layers and tighten it. This takes about 30 minutes and provides an immediate facelift effect. Then a pressurised air jet delivers “air shots” around the hairline, further helping lift the skin.

The final treatment, Thermage CPT, uses a radio frequency laser to tighten and lift the upper layers of skin. The whole package takes less than a day and requires no recovery time. The results last between one and two years.

Stem-cell Therapy

This allows patients to harvest their own fat stem cells which can be used to develop fat grafts for the face. It makes your face look fuller and tighter for up to 10 years.

Acculift

Acculift melts fat on your chin by inserting a needle-like apparatus beneath your skin. It then emits laser beams which dissolve the fat around your chin. Each session takes between three and five hours.

Ultraviolet Blood Irradiation Therapy

UBI therapy uses ultraviolet rays to irradiate a sample of your blood, before it is injected back into your circulatory system.  The process kills bacteria and viruses, and enhances the immune system and circulation. One treatment requires six sessions, with each session taking 30 minutes.
